Birthday Card with Numbers

It can be easy to find a birthday card for numbers like 50. But it takes a crafty person to make a birthday card with numbers like 26 or 74.

And those numbers count too!

At least, it counts today. Ann’s going to a celebration of a pretty special buy who’s turning 74 tomorrow. And when you’re 74, you celebrate when it’s convenient for you. Just like when you’re celebrating tiny numbers, you get the cake when it’s convenient for your parents.

We made this one with Secret Sea, Basic Beige and Poppy Parade. Normally, we would’ve used Real Red, but Ann consulted the Color Wheel for this one.

Ann didn’t think that she’d like Secret Sea, but we’re finding that it’s great to use as an alternative to Black. And Secret Sea is one of the colors that are going on sale on Tuesday for 15th off!

They say it’s select items, but I can tell you that the cardstock, ink pads and ink refills are on that list.

Since it’s a “guy’s card”, we weren’t going to put any bling on it, but Ann couldn’t help herself. She dotted the “i” with an Opal Round.
