We made this scrappy pieced Christmas tree card with our local stamp club this week. It was so easy to prepare for!

Now before I reveal it, I will tell you that we are not offended if you think it’s a cake. That’s what my favorite huMAN thought it looked like.

And our good friend, Cindy, thought it looked like a stack of presents. (I can see that!)

And that’s okay!

I suppose if we put a gold or silver star at the top, it would look more like a tree. But I happen to like that red bow.

I did mention that it was easy to prepare for, right? Each person got 4 pieces of the Take a Bow Designer Series Paper that were 6″ x 3/8″. They got to put theirs together any way they wished. When Ann was done with hers, she had 2 pieces about 2″ long left.

Just to be totally transparent, there was also one that was 3/8″ square.

What a great way to use your scraps! Your tree doesn’t have to be red and green, but the Take a Bow paper is perfect for a traditional look.
