Pretty Anniversary Card

Today’s card is already a month or so late, but the recipients were out of town helping their family through a difficult time. We still made them a pretty anniversary card, but sent it when they could enjoy what went with it.

And it was surprisingly easy!

You see, one had lost his mom and he stayed away to take care of that “after the funeral” stuff. It was a challenging time for all.

So, now they get to open their gift together and hopefully enjoy the card we made them.

Ann bought the Memories & More Thoughtful Journey Card Pack on a lark. And when she needed a little something to put together, she cut one of the 4″ x 6″ printed card stock in half to 3″ x 4″. That’s where she got that beautiful colored piece.

The greeting came from the Wild Ferns stamp set. Now, she should’ve used the die that came in the bundle, but she didn’t. She relied on the ever so popular Spotlight on Nature Dies that are out of stock for a couple weeks. (They weren’t out of stock when she made this!)
