Before I share this pretty pocket card, I should bark out “Happy Father’s Day!” to those of you who should be celebrated.

So, about today’s card, I’m a bit confused which version I should share with you. Ann made two totally different versions of the same layout. One is very pretty. The other is quite whimsical and has a hidden message for the recipient.

The pretty version was used as the sample card for our Stamp & Play Day that we did on Thursday night.

The Inspiration Card

Isn’t it pretty? You might think that there’s no greeting on the front, but look again!

Would you like to come to our next Stamp & Play event? Keep reading. You’ll get a chance to be among the first to grab a seat for this quick fun event.

Ann didn’t make this during the Zoom event to save time coloring. But I sure do like the way she colored it using her favorite Stampin’ Blends. She mainly used these 4 colors:

The stamp set? It’s the Layers of Beauty stamp set. We didn’t use the dies, but right now, you can double your savings when you purchases the stamps and dies together as a bundle. You’ll get 20% savings instead of 10% .

This bundle is extra special because it also includes a set of masks.

It was the first time that Ann used these two embellishments: The Petunia Pop ribbon and the Blooming Pearls.

I think they give just enough pop to make this card even more elegant.

Here’s the Whimsical Version

We’re giving this one to our friend who gave Ann and my favorite huMAN some steaks and stuff. That’s why Ann just had to make a cow card. And it seem just the right card to make along with everyone on the Stamp & Play Day Zoom event.

Isn’t he cute? I hope she likes it. But she made the item in the pocket, a bookmark. She used a regular office hole punch to make the hole for the ribbon.

Here’s what it looks like when you take the bookmark out.

Ann used Her Petal Pink marker to color the cow’s nose. (She tried Bubble Bath but it just wasn’t working.) She also used several neutral markers: Basic Black, Pebbled Path and Smoky Slate.

Try This Next Time. It’s #44!

Yes! July will be the 44th time we’ve done this online event, so grab your seat early! While it’s on a weeknight, Ann does her best to keep it between 75 and 90 minutes.
