Things are spinning like a whirlwind around here. So I toild Ann is was time for a teacup card.
Perhaps you know the saying “like a tempest in a teacup”. Perhaps not. In any case, you can image that would be pretty stormy!
Well, it’s not stormy around here, but we’re busy.
- Last Chance Discounted List in effect. (Grab your readable copy here.)
- New product keeps showing up on our doorstep.
- New Catalogs to get ready for mailing.
- Sweet Treats Product Shares
- Taxes (let’s not go there)
- Ann’s still not 100%
So I convinced Ann to slow down yesterday after she had her eyes checked. It’s time to make a card!
Where the challenge is that this is the second day in a row where Ann stamps something and then it’s sold out! She makes the project and even before she’s typed my barks, it’s sold out.
What’s New on This Teacup Card

We mixed up some new stuff and some retiring things on today’s card. Here’s the new stuff that you should know about that aren’t listed in with the supplies at the bottom becausse they’re not available until May 1st:
- Petunia Pop cardstock and Stampin’ Blends
- Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends
- Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends
Now, Ann wanted to encourage you to score some of those Everyday Details Dies before they sold out, but oops! They’re gone.
Here’s what we put on there that is on the Last Chance List right now while you’re reading this:
- Sale: $4.90 • Price: $7.00
- Price: $9.00
For those of you who shopped with us in March, you should be receiving some of the Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper and/or some Distressed Gold Specialty Paper in iwht your card if you used the current shopping code OR spent over $150. We love that stuff!
You have to look closed to see the Gold Celebrations on today’s card.
- First, because it’s really a printed window sheet.
- And second, because only a little is showing at the left and right side of the card.
- And third, because we have it flipped to show the silver side!
See it on the right? It’s that little silver polka dot.

We Wanted to Show You Behind the Scenes
Well, not behind the scenes, but underneath the card. We’ll show it in case you have these Everyday Details Dies.
Since the die wasn’t as large as the size we needed, we cut it in half and the put it together like this.

As you can see, we made the Stampin’ Dimensionals do double duty.
Before she attached it to the layered card front, she added liquid glue to the Petunia Pop pieces soi that everything would lay flat and be attached well.
If you’d like to learn tips like this while having a good time with some funloving crafters, you should grab a ticket to our April 18th Stamp & Play Day. We’ll make a card together and then play a few games so that we can give away at least $165 of your choice of Stampin’ Up! product split between 3 prizes.
And what’s sweet is that you don’t even have to leave your home as it’s on Zoom!
