My First Submarine Card

I’m so excited! We opened a new stamp set last night and made our first submarine card!

Now, you might think this stamp set is just for kids, but I beg to differ. What about your friends in the Navy? Or those in the Coast Guard?

We tried to show you the Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper but it was kind of hard to see it on yesterday’s card. But you can see it really well in this one! They’re actually window sheets that have gold images on one side and silver on the other.

And they’re on the Last Chance List! (You can see both Last Chance Lists here in larger print f you don’t have them already.)

It’s funny that we’re just about ready to release our offer for our Sweet Treats product shares and we’re sharing a card that doesn’t have any embellishments on it! (But a sample of the window sheets were included in the Sweet Treats for the last annual catalog.)

Those silver dots sure do look like bubbles, don’t they?

HOT TIP: We cut the printed window sheets just a little less than the Balmy Blue layer and attached it to the card base with Mini Glue Dots. Then we attached the Balmy Blue frame layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

But I don’t know if I would have Ann put those little Pumpkin Pie goldfish in the bottom left corner next time. What do you think?
