Mint Sympathy Card

Before I share our mint sympathy card, let me remind you that you’ve got something to do tonight before you go to bed.

She’s been pretty tied up with being the only one in the house to watch the apprentice while my favorite huMAN is visiting his family.

Ann and Domino don’t have the same sleeping schedules. Guess who wins that one? When this dog wants to go out, he gets to go out…..with a chaperone.

Now for the Card…

I must bark that this card looks better IRl – which means in real life. For some reason the blending looks way more splotchy than it is. And we like it the way it is – a little splotchy.

Ann used the Ginko Dies to cut out the Ginko flowers & leaves. She cut them out once from a scrap and then used the new Small Blending Brushes to blend Mint Macaron ink over the images. See the negative image?

Then she used the same dies to cut them out in Night of Navy. She then cut the heads off and attached them with the new Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Now, if you look closely, it looks like she used two colors to blend, but she only used Mint Macaron.

You don’t have to make this a sympathy card with this stamp set, All the greetings fit inside the die we used for the greeting on this card .
