Making a Pre-Fab Card

The card we made to share today isn’t really a pre-fab card. That’s what you could call cards made from kits. You could call today’s card a semi pre-fab card because we made it using the Texture Chic Memories & More cards.

Ann found a brand new pack while cleaning out her office. Of course, she opened it to thumb through it as soon as there was time for stamping.

And this is what she came up with.

Isn’t it pretty?

Ann wasn’t too fond of the Mango Melody, Petal Pink and Soft Suede flowers so she made Pool Party ones with Solver Foil accents to tone it down a little.

I think I like it better!

Ann trimmed it down a little so she could add an Evening Evergreen border layer. Originally, she was going to make the card base Soft Succulent and instead made it Pool Party to match the flowers.

Now, our Pool Party ink pad needed a drink so we had another idea to get a darker image. She didn’t want to wait to refill the pad so she stamped the flower in Pool Party onto some Pool Party cardstock.

I think we’re going to use this as a birthday card. Can you believe that Ann used two different jewels on this? That’s not normal.
