Know anyone who’s got the sniffles? How about sending them a Fall get well card?

Hopefully, it’s just the sniffles and not something really serious. And hopefully, they’re not anywhere on the Gulf Coast of Florida.

So, to get her mind off of the wellbeing of some of our 24/7 Stamper that live down there, Ann got out something to color. And she found this Cottage Rose set.

Like it? My favorite huMAN did. The flower petals were done with Pumpkin Pie and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends.

The flower center and the itty bitty flowers were done with So Saffron Stampin’ Blends and the leaves were done with Old Olive. The front leaves were done with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.

The back leaves were done with a Hybrid Embossing Folder that you may not have seen on page 175 of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. It’s called the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder & Die.

You can cut and emboss at the same time with this pair. Or you can cut out the images and then lay them on the images of the folder and get an even deeper, more textured image.

If you look closely, you can see how Ann put some Wink of Stella on the cardstock leaf images.

Looking even closer, you may be able to see the sparkle peeking out of the flower where Ann colored on Shimmery White Paper.

Ann doesn’t color much, but when she does, Stampin’ Blends is her coloring media of choice.

What Are You Doing Saturday?

Saturday is World Card Making Day! This year Stampin’ Up! is doing a huge online event and you’re invited! Yep. You can watch. You can stamp along with them. Use their measurements and cardstock suggestions or you can make something totally different.

The event is from 1 to 4pm Pawcific Time. 2 to 5pm Mountain. 3 to 6pm Central. And 4 to 7pm Eastern.

And it’s FREE!

Buy any of these bundles that they’ll be using before Friday, and you’ll get a free pack of Iridescent Pearls (1 pack per person, not per bundle). the only challenge is that the one we used today, the Cottage Rose Bundle, isn’t available until mid October.

It’s been so popular that they’ve run out of the dies for the Cottage Rose Bundle. But that’s okay. There are two more to pick from. We even featured the newly released Warm Welcome bundle

You can download the supply list and sizes to cut your cardstock here. Then you make your project along with the presenter or wait until you see the presentation and make it afterwards.

You Can Make This Card!
