We like to include our viewers and take suggestions from them on our live streams – like the sympathy card we did last Friday – Sometimes that means an awesome project and sometimes Ann doesn’t finish the card.

She even took out a new bundle for Friday’s show. And she used an additional die set that she hadn’t used before the show.

But she did finish Friday’s sympathy card with a few extra steps we’d like to tell you about. First, here’s the card.

The colors we used were Soft Suede and the the viewers picked Orchid Oasis for the card base and flower. Ann added Old Olive for the leaves and Daffodil Delight for the itty bitty flowers.

As you’ll see in the video below (or watch it here on YouTube), Ann started with using the Blending Brush on the flower with Orchid Oasis. Since she wasn’t happy with the way it looked, she finished the card afterwards.

I’m warning you that she picked up a VERY old scrap of adhesive sheet to show everyone how to use them. But it wasn’t the Stampin’ Up! brand that we sell now. You can fast forward through that part because she couldn’t get the old sheet to split and expose the adhesive. But when she changed to the white Stampin’ Up! adhesive sheet, it was fine.

What did Ann do after the camera was off? She ate dinner and the next day started cleaning the stamp room!

What?

Yes! That’s how she gets inspired sometimes.

Even after 24 hours, the Blender Pen she used still moved around a little of the Orchid Oasis color. Then she squished the lid of her ink pad into the pad and picked up some color from there with her Blender Pen. She applies the color where she wanted it to be darker, but she didn’t want it very dark.

Add the copper frame from the new Fabulous Frames dies and now we’re cooking!

I hope you like the way it turned out. I hope it brings some comfort to the recipient as well.
