We’ve made cards with leftover paper pieces before, but this time we’re making a geometric card.

We were inspired by someone who tried making a card they saw on Pinterest. Now, their card was just as good as the one they used as inspiration, but for some reason, they called theirs a Pinterest fail. Oh, my!

Don’t Do This!

Yes! Use a card for inspiration, but not comparison! Comparison is the thief of joy and that’s not on our dance card.

We used her card as inspiration, but the only thing similar is that we put little squares on the card. Nothing else is the same.

We liked her card. We liked her inspiration card. And we like this one.

We just happened to make our card with leftovers from the window panes in the card we featured in this post and a little help from our Live @ 5 on Friday viewers.

This stamper that we don’t even know, inspired us to do something that we otherwise might not of thought of. I know I hadn’t sent Ann any pup-o-graphic messages to do something like this! Check out all the dimension on this card!

Watch How We Did This!

Yes, Friday was fun. You can watch it here on YouTube or come to the site and watch it below. I think it would make an excellent man card. (That’s what we call masculine cards.) But maybe I’m just barking that because it’s all in earthy tones.

You Can Make This Geometric Card!

You don’t have to use the scraps from the Window Flowerbox Dies we used. (Although they ARE on sale as they’re retiring and the bundle with the coordinating stamp set is 20% off this week.) You can cut small squares or rectangles.

Please note that the Stitched Rectangle Dies are not available right now but should be the week of April 4th.

But I’ll bet that you’d like to know what we used for supplies.

So before we share the picture list, I want to be sure you know what we give all our online shoppers.
