Saying Goodbye is Hard

Yesterday was a hard day. Saying goodbye is hard and that pretty much dictated yesterday.

We said goodbye to all those stamps, inks, embellishments, tools and accessories. And then we also had to say goodbye to Barbara who’s been working with us for several years.

Those of you who have attended our monthly sales know her. Every now and then, she pops out, but most of the time, she’s watching her screen to keep track of the claims.

She’s moving to Texas with her husband, Mike. Here’s a picture of the two of them from a recent celebration that was held in their honor.

I sure will miss her. I always knew that her coming through the door meant that I would be eating soon. That would always make me doubly happy and excited.

So of course, we gave her a goodbye card yesterday. Ann slipped it into her purse when she wasn’t looking.

Ann broke out the new 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper that will be released in the new catalog starting May 3rd.

You see, Barbara loves yellow and gold so Crushed Curry seemed to be the perfect choice.

And since Ann showed the Retiring Story Label Punch in yesterday’s live stream, it just seemed the right choice.

I’m just glad they didn’t get any tears on the card!
