It was difficult for my house humans yesterday to learn someone dear is in the hospital with pneumonia. So I designed a sneak peek butterfly get well card for her.

My favorite huMAN’s baby sister is across the country in hospital with pneumonia. And yes, that VID thing that you should be wearing your masks to protect each other from.

We hope that she’ll get better really soon so we got out one of our brand new sets that will be released in January. Hopefully this butterfly get well card will at the very least cheer her up.

This sneak peek set is wonderful! Many of those butterflies and greenery are on one stamp so that it didn’t take very long to stamp the whole background. The greeting is from the So Sentimental stamp set which is available now.

Have You Tried our Alcohol Markers?

Have you tried our Stampin’ Blends? That’s what we call our line of alcohol markers that coordinate with our exclusive color families. That’s what we used to color the butterfly.

But here’s what we really learned.

When Ann originally started the card, she stamped the images in Smoky Slate and colored them with markers. She’s been using the Blends so much these past few years that she really hasn’t thought much about the markers.

Now we know why.

Just look at the difference between the two. The left is stamped in Smokey Slate and colored with markers. The right is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends.

Many of the colors are the same, but not exactly the same and not in the same place.

Could it be that Ann left the markers alone for too long? Or could it be that the Stampin’ Blends are so much easier to get a smooth even look?

What do you think?
