There are people who laughed until they cried yesterday. There were bloopers as well as a bow that perfect for the bow challenged.
If you were on the live online card making class yesterday, you know what I’m talking about.
It’s all Connie’s fault! She asked about washing the acrylic blocks. I can’t tell you the rest. It was quick, but very funny. You’ll find it around the 21 minute mark in this video.
I don’t think she’ll say that again anytime soon – at least not with a cough drop in her mouth.
So we tried something different yesterday. We started with a simple card with a few alternative ideas. This is one of the alternatives that we showed in the list stream stamping class.
Ann even showed a great way how to do that bow. It’s a great bow for the bow challenged.
It was the perfect show for beginners, but I’m fairly sure that the more experienced viewers learned something too.
Basic to Beautiful Duo
Isn’t it interesting how the basic one morphed into the beautiful one.
The overall card design can be used for a masculine card or a feminine card. They’re timeless!
We did our best to do the basic set without using any punches or die cutting machines. They’re great to have, but we’re talking basic – really basic.
It’s difficult to see the texture on the main stamped area in this picture, but those cut lines along the folded edge of the card are made with the Stitched Leaves Dies that coordinate with the stamp set.
In fact, our local stamp club made the stepped up version on Tuesday night. They were socially distanced, of course. And everyone washed their hands as soon as they came in the door to shake the dust off from the outside world.
So far, it’s worked out well.
But don’t believe me. Watch the video and discover lots of ways you can make these cards as well as alternative ways to put them together.
We know that it’s no fun to be bow challenged so we have lots of ways to do different bows in our Master Stamper program. We’re ramping up to the 9th anniversary of Master Stamper and you can temporarily try your first 2 months for the price of one here.
