Don’t you think it’s time for a masculine birthday card?
I mean, Ann hasn’t made one in a while and I think that us guys have been under served.
We have over 400 masculine card ideas here that we’ve shared over the years. Not all are birthday cards, so let’s add one!
You know, Ann bought the punches from this bundle, but she wasn’t going to purchase the coordinating stamp set. Eventually she listened to me and we scored the Layered with Kindness stamp set that works with the punches.
We used the Label Me Lovely Punch, but the coordinating Label Me Fancy Punch is a good one to have in your supplies as well.
We got the punched birthday greeting to pop a bit off the card by adding a circle of Mossy Meadow using the Stitched Shapes Dies.
I think a couple small pearls would be nice in the decoration if I wanted to have Ann make it a bit less masculine, but instead we used the 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim.
Ann pinched the ends and frayed them to give it more texture. If it were entirely up to me, it would’ve been a bit different. I would have had her run the stamped layer through the Subtles Embossing Folder. That would’ve added even more texture.
We don’t make many green cards. It’s amazing that she used just two stamps. And just two colors of ink. That’s great for when you’re just starting out!
Let’s look at what Ann used to make this card.
