Now that we’ve done a second sympathy card, I think that I’m out of my creative freeze.
Does that ever happen to you?
Ann’s been pretty sad since our friend passed away, but getting this second card done, I think that she’s ready to be work her creative muscle again.
There is just something about this free hostess set in the back of the 2019 Occasions Catalog that makes Ann want to get out her Stampin’ Blends and start to watercolor.
Stampin’ Blends really make it easy to look like a pro. And if you’re just starting out, getting Old Olive Duo and one or two colors that you like for flowers. They’ll still work with things other than flowers. Here are two colors that we used for this card:

We were a little rough on the shadows. I forgot to remind Ann to do that first. That’s what she teaches, at least. but she forgot that this time and came in afterwards with her Dark Gray Watercolor Pencil and a Blender Pen.
I think that the Country Floral Embossing Folder that we got for free with a $50 order steps it up a bit, don’t you? I hope they don’t run out before you get yours!

I think we’ll spend the day making Master Stamper videos. That will keep everyone’s creative juices flowing! I’ve got a couple ideas for her to get started on right after church.

I’m so sorry for your loss. The card is very pretty. I always appreciate the simple and elegant sympathy cards. The embossing folder adds just the right amount of design to the background.
