You Inspired Me Yesterday

Yes, you inspired me yesterday. This pup’s brain started moving and I got Ann to get the stamps, inks and papers out.

One of the cards she showed you towards the end of yesterday’s show got us thinking. We didn’t make the exact same one, but there are similar things about it. What’s funny is that we didn’t even use the same colors!

Hers was Copper Clay and green. Ours is Balmy Blue and Pecan Pie. You can see over 40 card ideas in yesterday’s show here.

We even pulled out some of the patterned paper that’s on sale!

Now, we usually like to keep things to one or two stamp sets and perhaps some coordinating dies. But with today’s card, we did a little bit of this and a little bit of that and love how it turned out.

We love it so much that it’s going out in the mail today. We’re sending it to our friend who got married 6 months ago and is having a celebration type reception this weekend before she moves out of the country.

I hope she’s not reading this because we like this so much, we may do a version of it at stamp club next week.
