Did you know that daffodils are a big thing where Ann is from? I’ve barked about it before.
There’s a big parade that goes over 3 or 4 towns. There are Daffodil Princesses from each of the high schools and one of them is selected to be the Daffodil Queen.
Do you have anything like that where you live?
So this card is going to someone who is from the same town but lives away during the cold months.
Do you think it will make her homesick? I know Ann sure does like pictures of daffodils.
They do give off a lot of pollen though, so pictures are just fine.
We used the Stampin’ Blends on this one in the same colors that we used when we made the card in this post EXCEPT we used a gray Watercolor Pencil instead of the Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blend.
It actually looks better in real life.
Don’t you just love those Basic Rhinestones we used to bling it up?
On the inside, we used the Picture Perfect Birthday set. (And we’re going to use it tomorrow too!)
If you like Spring cards, you might want to add the You’re Inspiring stamp set to your stamp collection. You can get it in Wood Mount (our favorite) or Clear Mount – especially if you’re thinking that you’d like to use it with your new Stamparatus.
By the way, if you were in the first pre-order period, you should have received an email that your new Stamparatus is in your shopping bag. If you were wondering where yours is, go back to our confirmation email you got last year when you reserved yours.
If it has a November date, your Stamparatus is in your shopping bag and waiting for you to complete the sale.
If it has a December date, your Stamparatus will be ready for you to pick up next month.
