Last night was so much fun!  I had some old fans and some new friends come to see me.  Ann and my favorite huMAN made dinner and their peeps brought food too, but I’m sure that they came to see me.

Everyone was so nice!

They had a different seating arrangement.  Usually when they get together, they sit around in couples, but this time they had a boys table and a girls table.

They were going to go outside, but it was 108 degrees here last I checked!  So instead, they shut the drapes and left the sunshine outside.  (They did open the door to let me out when I asked.)

But I digress….

Anyone there would be a good recipient for this card – and maybe we should do that – but after it was all said and done and everyone left, it made Ann wanted to color!

And we thought that you might have missed seeing this Swan Lake stamp set in the Occasions catalog.

Caring Card Idea

Originally, Ann started to watercolor this card, but I think she did fine with these markers:

But – insert secret here – Ann used the ink refills and the Aqua Painter for the water and the swan’s shadow.  You don’t mind, do you?  Here are the reinker colors that she put in the lid of her ink pads and then picked up with her Aqua Painter to color with:

And don’t you think that those new Glitter Enamel Dots just set this off?

Caring Card Idea

I think she’s going to feel awesome – and that’s the idea we were going for.

I do know that we hadn’t used either of the two ribbons on a card before we made this one.  It sure was awesome getting ready to pick from so many.  And the mini sequins are WAY better than their full sized counterpart that we used to carry.
