Mint Birthday Card

I’ve got to thank my friend Dawn for this birthday card idea. We share ideas with Dawn and her little pup sometimes. We like her art and she likes ours.

We saw her card and then proceeded to make it. BUT….

We used different stamps.
We put a different number of flowers.
- (She had 3 punched flowers. We have 2 die cut flowers
We used different colors.
We used different ribbon.
And we moved the bow to the right and added rhinestones!

So would you think that would make it different card?

We used Mint Macaron (retiring), Bermuda Bay and Pool Party. (And of course, Basic Black and Whisper White.) She used Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry.

And they sure did like making this card last night with our Yuba City Stamp Club.

It’s always nice to stamp with friends.

We really think that this set is better in lighter colors. It’s designed so that it doesn’t stamp a solid image. When you stamp something designed like this in a dark color, it just doesn’t have the same affect. Lighter is better. It looks like it’s supposed to when you use lighter colors.
