Welcome to the Wednesday Workover.
We have a shelf that has clear boxes of cards that Ann has made over the years. This one is at the front of one of the boxes and has been calling Ann every night for a week.
Some of our local stampers may remember making it with Ann years ago – perhaps even before I was born.
We used to miss the gingham ribbon, but not so much anymore. Styles change.
But even though styles change, a good card is a good card. When it’s got good bones – like a good layout – you can update it with new colors and stamps and woof! Here you go!
And I think I love it! Don’t you? If you’d like to leave a comment to let us know how you feel about this card, you can scroll down because we’d love to read it! (It’s my bedtimes stories that Ann reads to me.) But if you are reading this in your email, you can leave your comment here.
Ann used a Blender Pen and Ink Refills for this one. And I just love it!
- Pool Party
- Soft Suede
- Wild Wasabi
- Smoky Slate for shading
- Pumpkin Pie marker for his beak
The dots down the side came from yesterday’s featured stamp set, Dragonfly Dreams, but the rest is from a stamp set that’s in the back of the Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog called Swan Lake.

It’s Wednesday! Let’s workover a card!
This layout is simple but yet packs a “Pow” look. Thanks for the idea!
Love the remake! It is beautiful ! Love the colors!
I love today’s card. Swans are so beautiful and I like the colors. The message and the card would be a pleasure to make or receive.
