What’s your favorite card layout?  Do you like old-fashioned handmade cards?  Or do you prefer more trendy handmade cards?

I’m almost certain that you prefer handmade cards to store bought ones, right?

I told Ann that it was about time to dust off our markers and so she did!

She got out the Pretty Kitty stamp set that we accidentally bought two of and got things rolling.  (We’ll tell you how YOU can win the extra Pretty Kitty set in a minute.)

And here’s what we came up with using most of the latest IN Colors plus Archival Basic Black and Cajun Craze.

  • Dapper Denim
  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Emerald Envy
  • Sweet Sugarplum

Friends Card with Cat

And of course, we used the Stitched Shapes Framelits on the window, the cat and the greeting leaving a smaller space inside to tell our friend how much we like her without going overboard.  (Order these framelits now while they’re still available.  You’ll get them not long after November 28th.  They will be temporarily unavailable on November 21st.

If we would have just put the cat on the front of the card, it would just be too plain, but by using the same set of framelits, we easily cut a window for the cat to pop out of.

Before I bark about the papercrafting supplies we used, I must share how we’re going to give this free clear mount Pretty Kitty stamp set to one of our lucky readers.  (Even if you don’t like cats, it’s got some awesomely friendly greetings.)  To enter, all you have to do is to make a comment about the projects in any of our postings.  Yep!  Then at the end of November, we’re going to have a drawing!  That’s it!
