No one likes to lose their pet.  And none of the rest of us want to make those cards.

And I CERTAINLY hope Ann doesn’t have to get one any time soon either!

But since the Square Collection Framelits are on sale for 25% off this week, I thought that this would be a grrrrreat card to share with you.  and I’ll show you a few steps to help you do what I told Ann to do.

Here is the card that we would hope we would never send.  But if we did, we hope it would bring comfort.

Card Making Tips

So, here’s what we did to make the focal frame.

First, we cut the largest square of the Square Framelits.  It’s a 4-3/8″ Scalloped Square and too large for what we want to do.  (Our card is just 4-1/4″ across which is smaller than 4-3/8″)

Then we lined up the scallops with the cut edges as shown here.

Run that through the Big Shot and here’s how it comes out.

Now that we’re happy with a size that will fit our card, we use a smaller square to make this into a frame.

After that, we ran it through the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and assemble the card.
