So here’s the question! When do you make a manly anniversary card? Well, you could make one for YOUR favorite huMAN, but this one is different. Ann and my favorite huMAN disappear on Sunday mornings and go hang out at this building. I get walked in the parking lot sometimes, but it’s like they have a weekly appointment!
The head guy at their Sunday appointment is celebrating 40 years in his field. They’re having a barbeque today to celebrate so Ann and I worked on an anniversary card for him. 40 years! Yikes! That’s a WAY long time in dog years!
So here’s the masculine card we made. But keep reading. There’s another REALLY important warning announcement coming.
We used that new Big Shot Magnetic Platform to cut out the focal shapes. Here’s a few things to remember about the Magnetic Platform:
- Keep it away from anyone with a pacemaker. Hey! It’s a magnet!
- Keep it away from Credit Cards, Gift Cards and Debit Cards.
- Keep it away from your computer.
- Keep it away from Camera cards and those little jump drives – just in case.
Remember that it’s a powerful magnet and could cause issues. But it works great!
Here’s what else Ann used on this one stamp set card.

Colors? Baked brown sugar and Espresso? Very beautiful; in an elegant, masculine way!
Thanks for asking. The lighter parts are Baked Brown Sugar. The medium behind the focal point is Soft Suede. The dark layer around the outside is Early Espresso.
Glad you liked it!
