Ann has always like Mary Engelbreit. Even though we don’t have much of her art around anymore, there’s something comforting about that Mary Engelbreit feel. Kind of a polished country style. Comfortable.
So while Ann is recuperating from blowing up my computer yesterday and piercing her foot with some off brand of scissors the night before, I prescribed some comfort. Keep her feet up, breathe deep and do whatever I bark.
Do you think she caught that polished country feel in today’s card? Because she’s been holding onto this stamp set and hiding it from me for almost a month! I found it hidden in her suitcase when she came back from Fiji! She was hiding it from me!
We originally had some little Daffodil Delight flowers on the stamp when she colored it in with her markers, but we later covered those up with some Brights Candy Dots in Melon Mambo. All we had to do was look at the catalog to see what colors where in the Washi Tape and we were on a roll! OK. OFF the roll!
Here’s what else Ann used to make this card that screams June, picnics, swimming and hot weather to me.

It’s a great time to be the blog dog of a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator
Oh, Stamper – I love M. E. So sorry to hear of Ann’s assault by brand x scissors – they are not to be trusted! Is that a 2 inch circle to punch out the checked circle? 2 inch and 2 1/2? More punches to add to the wish list.
It will be best for the new circles framelits, Sharon. The inside of the circle is 2″. The outside is 2-1/2″ They’re #130911.
Well, of COURSE!! It will be on my next order. Thanks.
