My friend Teri is a demonstrator in England. That’s where my predecessor, Johnny Walker the Westie, came from. My favorite huMAN thought Johnny was the perfect dog. Ann feels Johnny was, but she KNOWS that I am.
But, I dig backwards…
So Teri wrote to me because her customers had questions about mounting stamps on clear blocks. Teri must be a very good demonstrator to do research like this! And I’ve got just the training video!
There are many ways to get good results with clear blocks. I’ll show you my favorite way in the video below. Then I’ll tell you a few more tips.

So, here are my other tips!
- Keep your blocks clean.
- Some stampers brush a thin coat of Alene’s Tack It Over & Over Again across the label. We haven’t done it yet so we’re not endorsing this.
- Some stampers leave just a little bit of the sticky gray foam exposed.
- But for the most part, keeping your blocks clean with a little added moisture does the trick!
