It’s about time that I got out from behind the camera & took my rightful place in a starring role! In this quick video, we’re answering one of your questions about the best way to keep your stamps on their clear blocks. I don’t know if this is the best way, but it sure does work!
It left our camera assistant almost speechless. Guess we should’ve warned him about the script.
I am personally not available to perform this service for you. PLUS, for health reasons, I would suggest that all Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators seek an alternative method to acheive the same results when stamping with their friends..
It’s a grrrrreat time to be the blog dog of a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

Thanks for the chuckle, this morning!!! Here I was all set with my note pad and pen to write down this AWESOME way to make clear stamps stick to the acrylic blocks and I just cracked up!!!
I am sure my dog would be more than willing to lick my stamps! 🙂 But, I just put a little dab of adhesive on mine. I know that’s not the way to do it….but …..
Love your humor!!!!
I am LOL!!! Best solution I’ve ever seen. And it does pay to leave older material on your blog. I was just cruising through your posts [note- it’s almost 4 months later!] – and came across this delightful information. I’m a cat person in my current life, but my first pet was the most incredible terrier ever. Stamper Dog is now my favorite on-line pet!!
That’s hilarious!
Too funny, Ann and Stamper. I do think my blocks need a clean washing and I’m going to do that. I don’t have a buddy to help me with the licking so I will take water and finger before sticking to my block. LOL. Thanks.
I would think that a finger dipped in a glass of water & swiped across the label would work if you’re stamping in public.
I’ll talk to Ann & see what she says.
Thanks so much for answering my question in such a fun way!
I have used the “lick” method before – me not my dogs – but was wondering if there was another way.
I’m going to try using a baby wipe or a glass cleaning wipe on the clear block and stick a dry stamp on it and see if it works too – might be better for demos than having customers see you licking your stamps!
Thanks Ann!
That is one great helper you have their, is he available?? Great tip, will have to try it sometime.
Ann,
I know all your videos say that you want to bring a little ink and paper into my day, but you always bring some humor along with it! I LOVE the video that you and stamper dog did and even before I watched it, I was pretty sure I knew what I would see. Too funny!
Have a great day and give stamper dog an extra treat for his performance!
