VampireBinky

This is Tommy's first Halloween.  He's been practicing for weeks.  I insisted that we make him a baby pumpkin basket.

Why?  That kid's got some fierce looking canines!  And I'm not talking about dogs!

So we got out the Big Shot & cut a Fancy Favor Box #115967 out of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. After cutting the two Scallop circles #113468, we cut 8 humps off the bottom & ran them each through the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder #119277.

Since we were using Deck the Halls Buttons #121002 from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog, I suggested that she use Always Artichoke leaves.

THAT'S where it started getting interesting!

We tore some Pumpkin Pie cardstock to go with the Always Artichoke & cut out partial leaves with it.  We used SNAIL to put it together & ran them through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder #120175 to squish them together really good.  (I sponged the leaves a little bit with Always Artichoke while Ann wasn't looking.  It's amazing what I can do with those Sponge Daubers!)

This idea isn't new to us.  We used it in this post for a St. Patty's Day basket.  And we made a Spring Basket in this post with it.  If you haven't gotten your Big Shot yet, you should check out how Ann can help you get one along with some free stamps &/or dies here.

I'm still picking out my Halloween outfit.  I think I'm going to do something with fur.  How about you?
