It was a pretty crazy day around here on Monday.  Ann & Karen left on a special mission.  I stayed home with Cecil. Ann & Karen spent most of the day scouring stores for special stuff.  Then they came back to get started on the main project of the day, our stamp room.  The “before” picture is just too scary to show you until their mission is done.  It may take awhile, but Karen’s got some pretty good ideas.

Ann almost lost her phone in Target.  She left it in that secret room they have for women.  She didn’t realize it until about 45 minutes later.  She maintained her cool & figured it was gone for good, but she had Karen call it.  By the time that Karen called it the 3rd time, whoever had it turned it in at the Customer Service Desk – just minutes after Ann had left coming back to look for it.

The phone was locked so they couldn’t make a call, but they COULD have answered it.

It’s okay.  Ann has her phone with my beautiful picture on it.  Life is good & everyone’s happy. They learned two things:

  • If you ever call 911 some morning because you’ve seen a drunk driver, they MAY block your phone so you can’t call anyone.  (Ask Karen!)  All you have to do is take the battery out & your phone will work again.
  • If you ever leave your phone in a public place.  Have someone keep calling it.  Things may have been quicker if they walked around the store while calling.  Wouldn’t THAT be a way to start off a conversation!

So here’s today’s project!  It’s one Ann got in a swap when she was in St. George last month for Founder’s Circle.  It’s not on the Bundle Special but you really should get the Stampin’ Up! Word Play (Wood – #120308 Clear – #120651).  We just might be doing something like this at the Jingle All the Way Stamp A Stack on Saturday.  Love that Marina Mist & Not Quite Navy together.  (Scroll down & you can register with PayPal)

Love it!
That stamp set is worth every penny as it has things for all holidays!  You can get it here.
