Ann's been participating in the Stampin' Up! Garage Sale in Sacramento for longer than they've been doing them at Karen's house. They have them down to a science!
More than 25 people who were waiting got to come in at 8:45 because the demonstrators were ready early. That's a reward they got for holding their excitement at bay. One cool thing about a Rubber Stamp Garage Sale is that they do Banker's Hours! None of the visiting stampers have to get up with the roosters or the Jack Russells. They can sleep in a little and show up at 9am to still get a good deal.
They added a new section in the back with a nice cover to keep you cool. You're not seeing many stamps in these photos because most of them are kept in the garage so that they don't get overheated. The demonstrators do their best to keep everything nice for all their shoppers including a free box for them to peruse!
<< Here's PART of the cash out team with Ann standing up. How nice it was to hear that a lot of stampers AND demonstrators asked about me. I might come next time because Ann said it was the best one ever. It was a really smooth operation & all the demonstrators & stampers were lots of fun to work with & for.
They even had a bit of a traffic tie up. If you click on the picture, you can see how far everyone parked down the street, but the line was longer going the other way. (you can click on any of the picture for a closer look).
Their next garage sale is one you won't want to miss on the first Saturday in August with a whole new set of retired stamps. That's August 7th from 9a to noon. People travel for this event because it's worth a day out with friends to get to. Be sure to mark your calendars NOW so that you won't miss out.
