Foiled Garden Card

Ann made this Foiled Garden Card while she was playing with our new Stampin’ Hot Foil Machine this week. Of course, that was between other things stealing her time.

It was another thing where she had it in her head and then finally got around to making it. It didn’t turn out the way she planned, but I sure do like it. And I hope you do too!

We’ve been wanting to make this card but the Artisan Sketched Garden paper was so popular that it kept selling out. It would come back and we’d be into other things. Then when we were ready, it was gone again.

That’s okay. Stampin’ Up!® does their best to keep everything in stock. I just know that I’m glad I’m not in that job! Ann and I have the fun part of the process.

It Gets Easier

Every time Ann uses the machine, it gets easier. It was pretty easy from the start but Ann kept forgetting to pull the plug out of the machine before she put the foil on. And now, she does remember!

How about that!

Coloring the greenery and the urn planter didn’t take long. In fact, Ann accidentally colored where she thought there was a leaf. Only problem was that it should’ve been white! She pulled out a color lifter and “erased” the mistake. You may be able to tell, but I’m sure you didn’t immediately see it before you read this.

And since we couldn’t find just the right embellishment, Ann took a Basic Black Stampin’ Blend to color a couple silver Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to make them the way we wanted them.
