Ann got her first order from the upcoming catalog on Saturday. She couldn’t open the box right away, so the apprentice guarded it until she came home.

Domino did the best he could to make sure that no one got a look at what was inside until she came home.

And when she did get here, she sorted everything so it would be ready when she was going to throw down some stamps, ink and paper.

Here’s the first thing that she made.

Now, I should warn you that she also got some stamps and stuff that is available now included in the box. And this stamp set she used is one of them. She missed getting the Framed All Around stamp set early, but I’m glad she got it now.

There’s a new Basic Black Hybrid Ink Pad coming out. It’s supposed to replace StaZon and Memento inks. It will be available to you on May 5th when the new catalog goes live.

Now, some are saying that this ink can smear on Basic White. But they’re sayng that it works fine on our other white cardstock, White Willow. We didn’t experience that when Ann made today’s card using Basic White.

We don’t know what the difference is, but she only gave it a minute or two to dry. And she used the Brush Tip of her Stampin’ Blends. It could be different humidity that caused issues for some. Or it could be that they used the finer tip of their Stampin’ Blends.

Look closely. Not smudge. At least not this time.

Our Plan

First – what we recommend for you is to check your outgoing IN Color supplies. Ink Refills and cardstock. Because Pretty in Pink Ink Refill is already sold out and not coming back.

Ann’s going to order some White Willow cardstock on her next order. It comes in 12″ x 12″ and they say it matches the white in our patterned papers better. I can’t wait to try that out!
