Golden Birthday Card

Last night’s Stamp & Play really made Ann do something she’d never done before. It may be a simple things but she’d never had patterned strips laid on such a large border!

I think that this would be a nice card for an older gentleman. But I don’t think anyone would dislike this one. Hey! It’s got gold on it! What’s not to like!?!

And all our stamps made their own version of it because that’s what it’s all about. We’re all just getting together and creating.

It doesn’t have to be difficult. We just get together and have a good time. Everyone makes their version of the same card.

One Tip for Working with Gold Foil Sheets

It could be because Ann can be a little heavy with the Liquid Glue. On the original card she used for the sample everyone could look at while they were creating, you could see where the the line of glue was. Maybe that doesn’t happen to you, but that’s why Ann rarely puts Liquid Glue under patterned paper as well.

But that’s okay! It turned out fine on this card.

And although the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper in on the Last Chance List, it doesn’t necessarily look Christmassy. What do you think?
