Sunday's Brushed Thank You Card

The patterned paper that we’re featuring today was pretty popular so we’re sharing a brushed thank you card. Ann doesn’t do a lot of pastels, but this paper is growing on her more every day.

Do you like pastels? Or do you lean more to bright colors? Or perhaps neutral colors.

This layout was inspired by a half-made card that’s been on Ann’s stamp desk for a while. It’s got some patterned paper on it that’s been gone a long time.

And even though she was copying her own work, she couldn’t do it the same. She had to change things.

Do you do that too? Change things when you’re copying something?

Now, remember that the inspiration piece wasn’t finished, but the card base and patterned paper were there.

Here’s What She Changed:

♦ The Crumb Cake layer was white and so was the card base.

♦ We used an Embossing Folder this time. It wasn’t that way on the original.

♦ There wasn’t a border between the card base and the top layer.
In fact, the top layer was 1/16″ larger than the Mossy Meadow layer.

♦ There wasn’t any bling or a greeting, but then, it wasn’t finished.
And the greeting we used is from a stamp set that is just $5 with a $75 purchase!
