I don’t know what got into Ann last night but she felt that she wanted to make a holiday pink birthday card. It didn’t start out that way, but it sure did end up that way.

In fact, she started with a Christmas set called Christmas Greenery. Then she got a little bug in her ear to make the poinsettia like one of those white poinsettias. They’re not really white. They’re kind of vanilla beige.

What Was She Thinking?

Once she stamped the flowers in Mossy Meadow and colored that poinsettia with an Ivory Stampin’ Blend, she got the idea of coloring the little flowers Pretty in Pink. We haven’t used that color lately, so I went along with it.

That’s when I stopped the process and sent my pup-o-graphic message to her that this must be a birthday card. And this is what she came up with.

You see, we have family members who have birthdays around Christmas. One on Christmas Day, one on December 28th and one on New Years Day. I’m sure that they all get birthday cards in holiday colors. But they don’t come from this house!

After watching yesterday’s World Card Making Day celebration, I think Ann was inspired to try something different. Did she do it? You tell me. I don’t think she’s done a mash-up like this before.

And I bark that in the kindest way.

And we did use lots of different products. Even though they’re different, they still coordinate. I like that about Stampin’ Up! products.
