Craft Together

Last night was fun getting together with our Stamp & Play group as they craft together. Or should I bark crafted together?

In any case, Ann was in our stamp room making a Halloween card. Everyone else was in their home making the same card however they wanted to. And then they shared their cards as they finished.

Here’s what Ann made the night before to use as the sample card. It’s not like her to use so many colors.

And that’s what she talked about – how changing one color changes how the card looks. I find it fascinating how one little change can make such a difference. Even changing a border color makes a difference.

And there were lots of colors to pick from in the patterned paper she used – Spooky Sweet 12×12 Specialty Designer Series Paper:

Basic Black
Daffodil Delight
Granny Apple Green
Petunia Pop
Pumpkin Pie

But what was so nice was seeing what everyone else came up with. And everyone won something!

Here’s the version of the same card she made along with everyone so they could make their cards too.

Which do you prefer? It’s a subtle difference. Those little star stickers are so sparkly. I just love them!
