Sunflower Card for a Sweet Friend

I’m so happy that the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder is back in stock! It was perfect for Ann to make this sunflower card for a sweet friend.

I don’t think that Stampin’ Up! thought that we would like the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder as much as we like it. Probably because there is no coordinating stamp set. But the truth is that it doesn’t need a coordinating stamp set or dies.

It can stand alone if you have some greetings to match with it.

I hope they bought enough!

Ann ordered Daffodil Delight Two-Toned Cardstock to use with this embossing folder. But as you can see, that’s not what she used. She used the Pecan Pie version because she thought it gave the card a rich unexpected color.

Have you used any of the two-toned cardstocks yet? They’re slightly thicker than our patterned papers, but not as thick as our cardstock.

This is our second one we’ve shared with the two-toned cardstock, but it’s the best sanding job. And you’ll never guess what we used!

Can you tell what we used? We couldn’t find the old sanding blocks that Stampin’ Up! used to sell. (Ann didn’t look very hard.) So she used one of those big cardboard emery boards! It worked great! Don’t you think?
