One Card Layout Two Ways

I couldn’t wait to show you what we made at our July Stamp & Play Day. They made cards together, but Ann did the one card layout two ways.

The card was so easy to prepare for duplicate that some made two cards!

First Ann showed them this card that she had made in advance.

I just love how she used two colors of the new Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots at the top right of the inside of the card. It matched perfectly with the Floral Charm patterned paper. We used the Sentimental Framing stamp set for this first one.

It’s a great card for when you don’t have a lot to say but you do want to show you care. And that Floral Charm Designer Series Paper has so many colors that you can pick a different featured color with every card!

The Other Version

When it came time to make the card along with everyone, she used the exact same sized pieces and the exact same fun fold. But this time, she flipped it to landscape rather than portrait and changed the greeting.

Because of how she placed the greeting, the card easily stands up on it’s own. You could use it as a sympathy card. Not all sympathy cards have to be somber colors. This would be especially nice to give at a celebration of life service – especially if their loved one had a passion for working in their garden.

We didn’t put any bling on this because the Mossy Meadow and Gold ribbon is so very fancy on its own. Don’t you agree?
