Sailboat Card x 2

We got out our Cloud Cover cardstock and ink to make a sailboat card on our live stream yesterday.

It was the first time that we used the Sunrise Sailing Bundle and we were really happy with the outcome. This isn’t just any bundle. It comes with a stamp set that has images and greetings and also has a hybrid embossing folder and dies.

But hold on! You might like the second version better!

During the live stream, Ann mentioned that you could also stamp waves in Cloud Cover onto the Cloud Cover cardstock before running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Since she hadn’t stamped the waves, she chose to use her Blending Brushes to add some depth to the waves. That’s in the sample above.

After the show was over, she made a different version where she stamped the waves and then embossed with the folder. This is how it turned out.

Which One Do You Prefer?

I know which one I like. but the pictures might look a little bluer than Cloud Cover is. Cloud Cover really is a very light blue-gray.

The live stream was only about 30 minutes but Ann didn’t leave anything out. At least, I don’t think she left anything out.

Please note that the cloud is one of the Sunrise Sailing Dies and is the only place where we used Dimensionals.
