Early Start on Valentine Treats

Are you ready to get an early start on Valentine Treats? I know that it’s not quite New Years but you can grab these cool Book Treat Boxes and get started!

It almost looks like a card in that picture above, but the boxes fold up to 3″ x 4″. That’s a lot smaller than a card.

I don’t know why we didn’t bring this Hearts of Elegance set out sooner. We used the bundle and the Marbled Elegance Specialty Paper to decorate our Book Treat Box. But we didn’t use the same pattern all the way around.

We used a heart pattern around the edges and on the back. AND you can get 3 Ghirardelli Squares and 4 Hershey’s Kisses or Rolos. That’s a pretty good package! A gift card could go in there or quiet money. (That’s what Ann’s dad used to call folding money.)

We tried some of that new Brushed Silver and Gold Specialty Paper. That’s what the gold hearts are made of.

HINT: We cut a little of our magnets and put one side under the paper on the front and one on the arm under the heart to help hold the arm closed. And then we added the second heart to help as well.
