Regal Flora Peeking Window Card

We wanted to be sure to break this stamp set out of the box right away. The dies are so awesome that we thought it was perfect for a peeking window card.

Well, we’re calling it a peeking window card because there’s a whole in front and something on the lower layer is peeking out. Does that make sense? Maybe it will if I show it to you.

The die not only cuts out the window, but it also cuts out a small border between the opening and the stamped part that we put in. So we can use that as a border for something else one day.

Don’t you just love it? You may have seen the patterned paper on page 35 of the Holiday Mini Catalog (AKA Sept-Dec Mini), but it’s the stamp set that makes this card.

Card Making Tip

It’s hard to see the little dots that we stamped in Pebble Path, but I do want to give you a little secret bark about that. Normally, little dots stamps have a spatter, but this one has the dots lined up. Because of that, I would recommend that you stamp them straight with the edge of your card. Or at least as straight as you can.

Or, you could stamp them all diagonally as long as they’re all at the same angle.

This dog’s opinion is that it will look a little funny if you stamp a set of linear dots around like you would do a splatter stamp, it could make people dizzy. I’m just barking here. You’re always free to do what you wish.
