We Found That Airplane Father's Day Card

Ann wanted to show this Airplane Father’s Day card on yesterday’s live stream, but she didn’t realize it was in the photo area right behind her! Did you see it? You might have if it was in focus.

Can you tell the inspiration piece? Ann had embossed the Lost Lagoon piece for something else. It had been sitting on the desk just waiting to be used. And so she did use it to make this card.

I think she made the right choice, don’t you?

It just took a little more thought to work out how I wanted her to do the greeting. She did two or three combinations and this is what she came up with. (it’s hard to see the silver in the picture below but you can see it in the full sized picture above.)

Cardmaking Tip

Ann stamped the small plane in Smoky Slate full strength. She added the clouds later and stamped the Smoky Slate ink off on a scrap before stamping on the card front.

The larger plane is stamped in Lost Lagoon. Then she colored in parts of the plane with a Smoky Slate marker

She cut the small banner in Silver Foil Paper and then used Paper Snips to cut it in half and make it look longer than it is.
