What is your go to stamp set when you need to make a sympathy card for a friend? Do you have a certain stamp set or colors you like to use?

It can be easier to make a bunch in advance and then complete the inside when you need them, but Ann prefers to make them all individually. and this one is for another Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator who is dear to her heart.

We just got the Delicate Forest stamp set and dies delivered by the man in brown. When she picked it up, she felt that it was just the perfect thing to use for today’s card.

Just know that it’s kind of challenging to take a picture of a fancy fold card. (Also known as fun fold cards.) But I hope you get the idea.

It’s kind of like two cards together. The one on the outside folds on the left like a regular card. The one inside is a bit smaller and has the fold on the right so you put the patterned paper on the front.

There are several ways to decorate it inside. You could stamp. You could attach a 3D flower or focal point. But we chose to use the Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper so you could see the pathway through the trees.

The back of that inner card is attached to the inside of the outer card.

I hope you can get the gist of this. I can’t show you the inside because Ann’s already written the inside. In this case, we do recommend that you write what you want on the inside before you attach it to the card. That way, you can turn the paper over or replace it before attaching it if you need to.

But I do have to tell you that we both like the greeting on the front of this card. Her friend helped take care of her mom along with her sister for many years.

This stamp set is carrying over into the new catalog but if you wait until May 1st or later, you’ll miss out on the 10% savings that Stampin’ Up! gives everyone when items are bundled together like stamps and dies or stamps and punches. But any bundle savings from bundles in the 23-24 Annual Catalog and the January-April Mini Catalog will go away May 1st.
