It’s not every day that you get to make a 50th anniversary card, is it? I figure it was a great way to entice Ann to get into the stamp room and make something.

She’s still not even at 70% so she hasn’t been typing for me. She doesn’t have much of a voice. One ear is plugged and she has coughing fits. She came home last Sunday and went to Urgent Card on Monday. Then she went to her regular doctor on Wednesday and has to go back on Tuesday.

She’s so dedicated to getting rid of this thing that she made the appointment for Tuesday! She NEVER does that because that’s the afternoon for her special time with you.

About the 50th Anniversary Card

We chose some things that will be carrying over into the new catalog that we’re mailing out to our clients the middle of next month. We chose them to work with a bundle that Ann got while she was at the Stampin’ Up! convention in Houston. Just be aware that the Happy Anniversary is from the Love for You set that’s on the Last Chance List..

Ann’s friend likes blue just like my favorite huMAN. We hope her husband does too!

The set, dies and bundle from the new catalog are called Country Flowers. I knew I could get her into the stamp room if she got a chance to play with her Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. And it worked!

She’s never used this color combination with the blends before. Some of those flowers are Wild Wheat which is very much like gold.

While in Houston…

Ann’s got lots of fun pictures and stuff that she brought back from Houston. I believe I can show you her favorite picture….the one she took with Co-Founder and Board President, Shelli Gardner. They’ve known each other for years so it was good to catch up with her.

What else did they do in Houston?

Ann will cover a lot of that when she gets better. We’re taking this back to work idea very slowly.

But while she was there, she did all this!

  • Picked up the new unreleased catalog
  • Did make & take projects using the Country Flowers bundle
  • Tried great restaurants along with her roomie, Deb.
  • Saw lots of stamping presentations using new products.
  • Caught up with lots of friends she only sees at Stampin’ Up! events.
  • Got woken up by a fire alarm at her hotel 2 hours before she was planning to get up lasts Sunday.
  • Had lunch with Kay who took her to the airport
  • And had a whole lot of fun!
