No, we’re not going back to college. We stepped back in time to something Ann used to love to do – collage.

And we’d like to thank Ann’s dear friend, Barb, for reminding her how much she liked to make collage cards. Ann was so inspired that she shared the idea with our Stamp & Play peeps last night.

But this is different – and it’s all Barb’s fault. Ann used to do these in the fall when you could use rich, autumn colors. Now she’s been inspired to do it in Spring colors!

We made this as another “fat-free” card. That’s what we’re calling cards that don’t have a lot of layers and depth. But this one has more depth that you might think.

She grabbed the 2021-2023 Opal Rounds that are now sold out to add some sparkle. But both of the stamp sets are still available.

I can’t tell you all the secrets. It was a ladies night out and some things just can’t be repeated.

But I can show you the two stamp sets. The Irresistible Blooms is an online exclusive and the Framed Florets will be gone by May 1st.

The Framed Florets Dies are sold out but the stamp set still rocks.

A Closer Look

If you look closely, Ann embossed half of the card with her Painted Texture 3-D Embossing Folder after she did all the fancy stamping.

We did discover something new to do with our Bone Folders. It’s quite interesting and Ann hasn’t seen anyone do quite like that before. And it saved her collage card. Just another one of those Stamp & Play secrets.

Perhaps you can join us for the next one that we’ve penciled in for May 11th.

I think that Painted Texture sure does add a nice touch. Since the IN Color Opal Rounds are sold out, I’ll bet these might be a nice substitute. Especially when they’re priced so special.
