How About a Little Sneak Peek?

Ann is off to Vacaville today to do a shoebox swap with other demonstrators. Before she left, I got some pictures to share as a sneak peek.

What’s a Shoebox Swap?

This one’s easy. There will be 13 people there. Ann brings enough supplies for the other 12 to make a card she designed. And then she makes everyone else’s cards.

She says it’s lots of fun. She’s been going down there for years. Her upline, Denise, – that’s who she’s directly under – hosts these and people drive a couple hours to attend the event at a nice local hotel that’s near the Outlet Stores. Some of our 24/7 Stampers go too and Ann looks forward to seeing them. Then they all go to dinner together.

Anyone can host a shoebox swap, but this one is just for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. (This picture is from 2019.)

The good thing is that you go with one idea and come home with a dozen! And all these will be made with new stamps and colors from the 2023-24

Perhaps she’ll share some of the ones she made when we go live on Tuesday at 2pm Pawcific.

She used the new Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path IN Colors and matched it up with Early Espresso. It’s a bit ironic that the greeting says “brightest birthday” but she used new muted colors.

You can do that when you make your own cards. I think Barbara and the people who like yellow would like it.

My favorite huMAN helped her by doing all the die cutting with our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then Ann packed all the pieces up in our 6″ x 8″ cellophane bags so it’s easy for them to grab, stamp and assemble.

He even punched out some of the holes for them.
