By now, you’ve probably seen a few of our ideas using the Everything is Rosy Medley (human speak for collection). We’re switching it up to make masculine cards.
Up until now, the card that we featured in this post is my favorite…..today, at least.
But today, we want to show you a couple ideas of cards we’re sending to some of our special fellas in the family.
They Don’t Make Cards for This
Our first one is one that we hope you never have to send. You see Ann’s God-son had a fire at his house. He’s okay, but the dryer caught their bathroom and kitchen on fire. And there is smoke and water damage other areas.
What a perfect time to send a Target gift card!
I hope you never have to spell this word out on any card you make. But I have to be sure you know that we are keeping the Large Letter Framelits. They are so useful – especially when you’re making graduation and wedding cards.
And it’s going away when the catalog closes in a couple weeks uless they sell out sooner.
Did you see what we did? We used the Specialty Paper that comes with the Everything is Rosy Medley and added the Subtle Embossing Folder.
Can you tell we ran the rose gold through the folder twice? Yep! We rotated it 90 degrees the second time.
We just love the rose gold accents that you can only get with the Everything is Rosy Medley, but we mixed the color combination on this card. Here’s what we used:
- Soft Suede
- Night of Navy
- Rose Gold
Spelling Out the Masculine Cards
This second card is unique too. You just can’t buy a card that says “Happy Birthday” and “Get Well Soon” at the same time AND have to recipient’s name on the front!
When we were cutting out the letters for the first card when Ann realized that she was about to spell out her maiden name!
Her brother had a birthday last week and is having knee surgery this week, so she sent him this card which has both greetings inside.
We swapped out the Soft Suede for Sahara Sand on this one. We still used the Subtle Embossing folder for double embossing the Sahara Sand, but the rose gold is textured with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.
And don’t you love that rose gold edged ribbon that’s in the Everything is Rosy Medley? It’s enough to make me bark out loud!
Can’t wait to see you make some masculine cards.
