We weren’t crazy about Grapefruit Grove when it was first released, but over the years we’ve learned something about Stampin’ Up!’s IN Colors.

We buy them right away and use them. All of a sudden, we realize why Stampin’ Up! picked them! They’re great colors that all of a sudden become popular.

It’s funny because Grapefruit Grove was pretty close to the color that Ann had at their wedding. You’d think that she’d like it immediately, but that wasn’t the case.

Even though we used it in yesterday’s project, I think that this new Painted Seasons Sale-A-Bration stamp set that is being released after Valentine’s Day is what changed her mind. Grapefruit Grove is the perfect color for these flowers, don’t you think?

Card for a Friend

I love it when it’s paired up with Pear Pizzazz, but we took a bit of a turn and put it on Very Vanilla. And then we took another turn by stamping off Sahara Sand and then stamping it over the flowers.

We even stamped the inside!

You may have noticed that the front is smaller than the inside. The only problem with that is when you try to take a picture. You need to hold it closed. Since I don’t have opposing thumbs, I have Ann be my model.

But if that’s the worst thing that happens to me this weekend, I think I’m okay.
