Happy Cinco de Mayo.
A little birdie in the back yard told me that I’d better go through Ann’s retiring stamps and do one for the birds before they’re gone.
So I got Ann to get out her markers and blender pens and do a little real artwork. Believe me, it looks MUCH better in real life and it didn’t take that long to make.
This wouldn’t have to be a sympathy card. It could work as an “I’m sorry” card as well. (Perhaps I should swoop one away for the next time I do something to get in trouble for. You can see over 50 more sympathy card ideas we’ve done here.
With stamping, you can color the bird whatever color you wish! And so Ann did with these markers (just click on a color sample to see what else is available in that color:
The Blender Pens made it to where we could have more variation in the color. We could make it much lighter by scribbling on a piece of waxed paper or on an old label backing (after the label’s been taken off). Then just pick up the color with your Blender Pen and scribble.
Here’s a listing of most of what we used. Much of it is retiring product and I’d hate for you to miss it because we were so late playing with that bird!. The retiring product will only be available a few more weeks or while supplies last.
