There’s a discussion going on here at Central Bark and we need your input. Ann thinks one way. My favorite huMAN thinks another.
I’m not getting in the middle of this so I need your help because I really value your opinion.
Here’s the original card that we made with two things – first, the Balloon Bash stamp set that Ann got for free from Stampin’ Up!. Wasn’t that nice of them to give Ann this stamp set at the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference to bring home to me.
I’m positive that Danyel told her to bring it to me. Free stamps are just one of the many reasons why being the dog of a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is the perfect place for me. (Find out how you can do that for YOUR dog here.)
That ribbon looks a little dark, but it’s the Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin Ribbon.
We used the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper that is free this week and retired next week. It’s embossed white on white. Then we sponged Pear Pizzazz over it and then polished it with a tissue.
Easy peasy even holding the tissue in my teeth.
The focal greeting is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink because that’s the best black for photopolymer stamps.
But then SOMEONE got the wild idea to stamp the banner once in Pear Pizzazz and once in Mossy Meadow. Then they trimmed it out and attached it to the banner.
Now, I’m going to show them to you side by side. BUT DON’T LOOK AT THEM AT THE SAME TIME.
Put your paw or hand up to cover one side and then the other. And THEN leave a comment below to tell us which one you like best.
I really want to know how you feel so be sure to leave a comment below.

My vote is for the green banner – it’s just so fresh looking.
Mossy Meadow on its own…pops!
I think they are both very nice, but….in Calypso Coral they’d be awesome.
I hate to fussy cut. That being said this particular stamp set shouts cut me. So I vote for the card that has the banner cut out. Love the color combo!
They are both lovely cards. Very striking…but Stamper…I think I like the all black one just a teensy bit better. It’s just a bit bolder. The green version is softer so as Shirley said…perhaps one for a guy or a woman into the bold side of life and the softer green for a more girly girl. There you go…no need to get in the middle my little Stamper friend.
By the way, it’s the same card with just the green bits glued on.
I am thinking the pear pizzazz if I was going to give it to a woman, and the black one for a guy. They are both very nice.
I prefer the Pear Pizzazz banner, but might add just a hint of black or Mossy Meadow on the edges to make it stand out.
We like the one on the right with the Pear because green is one of our favorite colors. Doodles and her mom
I like the contrast of the black BUT I would like it best if the entire banner was Mossy Meadow!
I like them both also but my favorite is the combination of Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow.
I really like them both, but I would make the one with Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow. Beautiful card.
I really like the banner in the green! The whole coordination thing, I guess, just appeals to me. 🙂
